Open Doors Initiative will conduct our business affairs to the highest standards of integrity, honesty and fairness

In line with Open Doors Initiative’s core values, Open Doors Initiative, in turn, values its business relationships with its employees, sub-contractors, clients and suppliers. All of these relationships are central to the success of the company.

  • We will comply with all relevant legislation in the conduct of all business activities
  • We will be honest in our dealings
  •  We will not offer or take bribes
  •  We will be diligent in selecting our suppliers, sub-contractors, advisors and consultants
  • We will respond to any breach of behaviour as it relates to our business

We believe in treating people with respect and dignity, and do not condone the use of our services to infringe upon the human rights of others. Open Doors Initiative also expects our suppliers to adhere to the same high standards and takes reasonable steps to ensure that partners with whom we do business adhere to those standards as well.

Accordingly, Open Doors Initiative has adopted the following principles throughout the company.

  • Open Doors Initiative supports and respects the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.
  • Open Doors Initiative is committed to making certain that it is not complicit in human rights abuses.
  • Open Doors Initiative prohibits the use of forced, bonded (including debt bondage) or indentured labour, involuntary prison labour, slavery, or trafficking of persons for itself and/or it’s suppliers. Employment is always voluntary.
  • Open Doors Initiative is dedicated to maintaining workplaces that are free from discrimination or harassment based on race, colour, religion, creed, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity and expression, national origin and ancestry, genetics, citizenship status when otherwise legally able to work, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by any applicable law.
  • Open Doors Initiative shall provide employees with a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Open Doors Initiative is committed to promoting environmental responsibility and encourages the development and application of environmentally friendly technologies.
  • Open Doors Initiative prohibits corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
  • Open Doors Initiative believes that freedom of expression and privacy are fundamental human rights.
  •  Open Doors Initiative will not retaliate against a person who acts in good faith to report a concern, provide information or otherwise assist in an investigation or proceeding.
  • Open Doors Initiative requires all employees to adhere to these principles and to all other Open Doors Initiative policies, practices and procedures.
