Launch of Inclusive Recruitment of Trans and Non-Binary Candidates: An Employer Toolkit

We had the great honour to launch “Inclusive Recruitment of Trans and Non-Binary Candidates: An Employer Toolkit”, kindly hosted by founding members of the Open Doors Initiative, Accenture Ireland. 
This informative and practical toolkit strives to platform lived experience while acknowledging the barriers within recruitment processes and the practical measures employers can implement to systematically remove these barriers. 

Dr Vanessa Lacey, lead researcher and director of Gendercare, shared some of the key findings from the research which shaped and informed this toolkit. Dr Lacey was joined by Karen Stevenson, Associate Director at Accenture Operations and Samuel Riggs, EDI Manager at Irish Rail for a panel discussion moderated by ODI’s CEO Jeanne McDonagh. We heard of the tangible measures that can be put in place to ensure the trans and non-binary community know an employer is inclusive and that this will be a workplace that promotes an authentic culture of belonging.
